Not long to go now, before the end of the School year. Warm weather and bright sunshine is starting to flood our classrooms and as summer draws nearer.
The youngest students at the School have spent the last few days singing and dancing in front of parents and teachers at the Prenursery Summer Concerts.
This year the School has organized a major art project, led by the famous artist, Carlos Baonza, recreating the legendary car from the film “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”.
In May, we were once again able to enjoy one of the most exciting and most eagerly awaited School competitions, the Choral Speaking Challenge.
Once again this year, the Panel of Judges at the 2019 Duperier Award had a difficult job choosing two winners, from the six different research projects entering the competition.
The playground at British Council School was filled with games, fun and a lot of support for a very special party.
Our young footballers in Years 8, 9, 10 and 12 had to digest the frustrating and bitter pill of coming only third in the Youth Football Tournament for International Schools.
Our final touch in April was the magnificent Villa-Lobos Violoncello Octeto Concert which took place on Thursday, the 25th of April at The British Council School Theatre.
As we do every April, the School had it´s We Love Books Festival again this year. It is a month full of book related activities, stories and story telling, authors, poetry, Shakespeare, etc.
In April, our students from Primary Year 4 were able to take a journey through time.
