September is upon us and as usual the Schools´classrooms and corridors are once again full of noise, laughter and the sound of almost 2000 students returning to School.

Wind, string and percussion...these are the weapons deployed in a war that all our students want to win. The Class Bands in Year 7 have been fighting it out in our “Battle of the Bands”.

Summer is here, which means we´ve been able to enjoy one of the School´s favourite musical events, the Summer Concert in Early Years.

We are saying goodbye to another academic year. And we are also saying goodbye to our dear students in Year 13.

The Headmistress at the British Council School, Gillian Flaxman, thanked the companies involved as well as all the participants in the Workshadowing Programme.

The North American poet Emily Dickinson said: “To travel far, there is no better ship than a book”. That´s why, as we do each year, we have organised a Book Fair in the Library in Primary.

Just like for the Mad Hatter in the unforgettable novel Alice in Wonderland, nothing is impossible for our Year 8 students.

In order to celebrate World Environment Day, our teachers in Primary have done a great job working on these subjects, helping students to think about them and come up with ideas.

Our students in Primary had the opportunity to take an incredible trip around different world cultures. They took advantage of the global perspective offered by the Museum of Anthropology.
