“The Cornell University Hangovers”

"The Hangovers" are the a cappella subset of the Cornell University Glee Club, one of the most well-known male-voice university choirs in the US, having just celebrated their 150th anniversary at Cornell University in New York.  The Hangovers already have 50 years of their own history as the special ensemble of the Glee Club, having travelled all around the world and sung for diverse audiences, such as for the International Eisteddfod in Wales or at the White House.

In this tour of Spain, they will give performances in in Madrid and in Barcelona before returning to the Cornell campus in Ithaca, NY.  Their performances have been recognised internationally for both their musical quality and their showmanship.  It is an extraordinary experience to see a live US university-style a cappella performance, surprising those who have never seen or heard it.

Come and enjoy the performance in the new Secondary Auditorium at the British Council School. The School’s own a cappella ensemble will open the performance.

Get your tickets at 6€ for school students and 10€ for adults.

Before the event and during intermission, beverages and snacks will be on sale to benefit the fight against cancer through the BIOOR association, the Olivia Roddom Oncological Investigation Scholarship.
